As the years go by, more and more everyday processes are being controlled by computers. From power distribution to light shows at rock concerts, things that used to be controlled manually are becoming increasingly automated. Even our own homes are computerized. Dishwashers, washing machines, ovens, microwaves, heating, and air conditioning all have programmable settings to make them more convenient. As long as the world's dependency on computers continues to grow, there will always be a need for computer engineers to make faster, cheaper, and more efficient systems.
